Bittor is the name of the second instalment of the record from the saxophonist Víctor de Diego, leading a trio. A proposal that shows how during the passage of time the group has consolidated its sound and aesthetic predilections.
Original songs and classics of the genre arranged for the occasion in a mixed repertoire that has the best jazz as the common denominator. De Diego, bravely taking on the challenge of leading an unusual formation (a trio with saxophone, bass and drums come together without the base harmonic piano), makes clear that Bittor is just one more step in a chain that offers even more surprises.
Víctor de Diego – tenor and soprano sax
Jordi Gaspar – double bass
Gonzalo del Val – drums
