Aba Taano, meaning ‘five’ in Luganda, is a group of five young Ugandans who sing ‘a capella’. They are the first musical group to come out of the orphanage of Musica Para Salvar Vidas or ‘Music to Save Lives’.
The group’s style is based on musical traditions from their home country. For the past five years they have been touring internationally. Proceeds from the concerts help to fund education and living costs back at the orphanage.
